KPMG Switzerland has restructured its advisory division in order to better adapt to the market needs and strengthen its management level. It is now divided into two departments: Council Transactions & Restructuring and Consulting.
On 1 November 2013, Peter Dauwalder will take over as head of Transactions & Restructuring while consulting will be led by Anne van Heerden, who will continue to assume his current role as Head of KPMG Forensic Switzerland.

Overall responsibility for Advisory will remain with Stefan Pfister.
KPMG said it has restructured and streamlined its entire Advisory function in order to provide its clients quick, competent support in the sense of a one stop shop.
Prior to joining KPMG, Dauwalder has worked for two international consulting firms, initially as a certified accountant and later as an advisor.
Heerden, who is head of forensic at KPMG Switzerland since 2003, has been working at KPMG since 1986 where he has spent the past few years building up KPMG’s internationally-networked Forensic department.
