Wright who will be based in Jersey will report to the head of private wealth management, Stephen Rothwell.
Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson in January 2012, Wright was the head and managing director of the private wealth management business of Deutsche Bank for Channel Islands, Turkey, Israel and Africa and was based in Jersey.

He had joined Deutsche Bank in 2006 initially as head of private banking, having previously worked at the Royal Bank of Canada.
And at Deutsche Bank, he had led an international team of 26 staff that advised UHNW and family office clients.
At Kleinwort Benson, Wright will lead the growth of the private wealth management business in offshore markets working closely with offshore professional advisers. He will also have to lead offshore fund sales.
Additionally, Wright will be responsible for a team of 23 that covers the private wealth management, portfolio management and fund distribution business areas across Jersey and Guernsey.
