UK-based asset manager Kames Capital has appointed Allan Clarke as the new investment analyst in its equities team.
Clarke, who has eight years of experience in the financial services sector, will report to Stuart Fraser.

He will be responsible for researching and recommending opportunities for the firm’s European and global equity portfolios.
He most recently worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Edinburgh, where he was a specialist for valuation of unlisted companies.
Managing the only team of its kind in the Scottish market, Clarke carried out valuations for M&A, corporate restructuring, regulatory and accounting purposes. His valuation involved various businesses, though he specialised in the financial services industry.
Prior to that, he managed audit teams focusing on investment management businesses.
