Jupiter has hired Ross Teverson as new head of strategy for global emerging markets, effective November 2014.
In his new role, Teverson will oversee Jupiter’s emerging market team which includes Philip Ehrmann, Kathryn Langridge, Avinash Vazirani, Ben Surtees and Colin Croft.

In addition, he will also be responsible for investment performance and growing assets under management.
Teverson will report to the group’s head of investments, Stephen Pearson.
Prior to joining Jupiter, Teverson has worked at Standard Life for 15 years, most recently serving as investment director GEM equities, where he ran the global emerging markets equity unconstrained Sicav. He also worked as director of Standard Life Investments Hong Kong.
Pearson said: "Developing our global emerging markets capability is strategically important to Jupiter. We already have a strong team of specialist fund managers in this space and Ross’s broad experience and skills will help us build out our strategies on a global basis."
