Swiss private banking group Julius Baer has named Yves Robert-Charrue as the new interim head of Investment Solutions Group (ISG).

He will replace Burkhard Varnholt, who is set to depart from the bank at the end of May following realignments within ISG. Varnholt served as the bank’s CIO and head of ISG since 2014.

Robert-Charrue, who also serves as head of Intermediaries, will report directly to CEO Boris Collardi in the new role.

Robert-Charrue, whp joined Julius Baer in 2009, served as member of the bank’s executive board since 2010, as well as held the role of head ISG from 2010 to 2011.

As a result of the changes, Yves Bonzon will become the bank’s sole CIO, responsible for heading the bank’s Investment Management (IM) division that manages discretionary investment solutions.
