Swiss private bank Julius Baer has appointed Calum Brewster as its new head of UK regional offices.
Brewster formerly served as the managing director for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England at Barclays Wealth & Investment Management.

In the new role, he will report to Julius Baer International CEO, David Durlacher, and will be based in Edinburgh.
The latest hire follows the company’s announcement in August 2017 to expand its UK footprint by opening new offices in Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow.
At that time, the bank revealed that it has hired relationship managers for the new offices, without revealing their names. It also revealed that it will form a small team in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Recently, the Swiss bank also appointed Bernhard Hodler as its new CEO following the sudden resignation of Boris Collardi.
