Julius Baer has started a strategic cooperation with the Swiss think tank W.I.R.E. which will provide analysis and insights regarding trends in the fields of business, society, technology and life sciences, complementing the Bank’s Next Generation investment framework.
With Next Generation, the Bank identifies and explores forward-looking long-term investment opportunities which provide solid financial returns and are at the same time socially and ecologically responsible, so as not to burden future generations.

W.I.R.E., which was founded in 2007, is one of the leading Swiss think tanks, focusing on the holistic analysis of long-term drivers of change and the early detection of trends. It is associated with the Collegium Helveticum, a joint initiative of the University of Zurich and the ETH Zurich to promote transdisciplinary research and knowledge exchange. Furthermore, W.I.R.E. maintains a broad international network of experts and opinion leaders.
