Swiss based private bank Julius Baer has appointed Mazy Moghadam as a managing director within its London financial advisory team.

In his new role, Moghadam will focus on the private bank’s UK resident, resident non-domiciled and non-resident clients, and will report to David Durlacher, director in the UK management team.

Moghadam, with 14 years of experience has worked as a senior relationship manager at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management’s Monaco office for five years, before Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s overseas private bank was bought by Julius Baer in 2012.

Prior to this Moghadam was a managing director in the private client services group at Bear Stearns in London.

Earlier to Bear Stearns, he had a spell at Goldman Sachs as an executive director, after having worked as an associate in mergers & acquisitions at Morgan Stanley in London.
