JTC, a provider of fund, corporate and private client services, has hired Michelle Le Herissier as new head for its British Virgin Islands (BVI) office to expand its range of private client and corporate administration services.

In her new role, Le Herissier will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the BVI team to boost the firm’s offering in the jurisdiction and strengthening relationships with third parties.

In addition, she will also support JTC’s Latin America offices and work together with its alliance partner Kensington Trust Group in Asia.

The BVI office, which was opened in 2002, provides a range of international incorporation, administration and professional services.

Le Herissier, who has 20 years’ industry experience, previously worked for four years with Barclays as managing director of the Singapore and Hong Kong trust division and four years with Cititrust, where she set up and ran a similar operation. Prior to this, she worked for a number of years in the private client arena in Switzerland for both Citi and Credit Suisse.
