JPMorgan has named Andrew Fleming, former CEO of Kames Capital, as chairman of its Japanese investment trust.
Fleming, who has been a director on the trust since 2004, will succeed Jeremy Paulson-Ellis next month.

Paulson-Ellis is retiring from the trust after 18 years, having been on the board since 1996.
Fleming served for eight years at Aegon Asset Management, which is the parent company of Kames, led the creation of Kames Capital in 2011, and resigned from his post in March 2013.
At the same time, Christopher Samuel has been named non-executive director of the Japanese trust.
Samuel, who served as the chief executive of Ignis Investment Management since 2009, departed Ignis following its acquisition by Standard Life Investments.
