De has been with the firm for more than 20 years and Hillery joined Cazenove in 2001.

JP Morgan reported that these appointments come amid a shake-up of the US bank’s business in Europe that will see a number of senior bankers take on new roles.

De and Hillery have joined the firm replacing Laurence Hollingworth, previously head of investment banking in the UK, and will take over from Jake Donavan as the head of industry coverage in the EMEA region.

Donavan will become senior country officer of Benelux and the Nordics.
