JPMorgan Asset Management has appointed Alan Supple to the newly created role of head of global real estate securities.
Supple will report to head of the global equities team Howard Williams and will oversee more than $2.5bn of investments in international listed real estate.

Prior to joining JPMorgan, he worked at CenterSquare Investment Management, the real estate investment unit of BNY Mellon Asset Management.
Commenting on the appointment, Williams said: "Alan’s broad investment background brings a wealth of real estate industry experience spanning portfolio management, corporate direct investment and corporate advisory roles.
"With this he brings a keen eye for judging investment opportunities across the sector. Publicly traded real estate offers investors a relatively stable income profile and, in many cases, attractive growth opportunities."
Additionally, Supple will serve as portfolio manager of JPMorgan funds, namely Global Real Estate Securities fund and the onshore JPM Global Property Securities fund.
