JPMorgan Asset Management has expanded its Retirement Solutions group by appointing Daniel Notto as new managing director and ERISA strategist.
Based in New York, Notto will report to Anne Lester, managing director, portfolio manager and head of Retirement Solutions.

Notto will work on expanding the firm’s focus on current legislative and regulatory changes, help inform product strategy and provide timely updates to plan sponsors and financial advisors on policies that could impact defined contribution (DC) plans.
Notto joined JPMorgan from AllianceBernstein, where he served as senior retirement plan counsel and also worked as general counsel and consulting practice director at Universal Pensions (now Ascensus).
Prior to this, he also worked in the legal department of Investors Diversified Services (now Ameriprise Financial).
JPMorgan Asset Management has nearly $151.8bn in defined contribution assets under management as of 31 December 2015.
