JPMorgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has named Mark Richards as new global strategist for its global multi-asset solutions group.

Based in London, Richards will report to John Bilton, JPMAM global head of multi asset strategy.

In his new role, Richards together with the existing members of the global multi-asset solutions strategy team will be responsible for determining global economic and asset allocation strategies for both institutional and retail clients.

Also, Richards will be able to connect together broad macro trends with developments in equity markets.

Richards joined JPMAM from PIMCO, where he worked as senior vice president with responsibility for equities macroeconomic research.

Prior to this, he worked as a director at Credit Suisse where he covered asset allocation and global equity strategy.
