JP Morgan has appointed executive director, Andrew Kennedy, as a private banker for its team in the UK.
Based in London, Kennedy will report to Olivier de Givenchy, head of JP Morgan Private Bank in the UK. In his new role, he will advise and develop relationships with ultra high net worth clients in the UK, with a particular focus on financial sponsors.

Kennedy joins JP Morgan from SAM Capital Partners in London, where he was chief operating officer and head of business development. Before joining SAM, he was a senior member of the alternative investments group at Dresdner Kleinwort, a principal at Onda Capital, and an investment banker in equity capital markets at JP Morgan in London. Prior to that, Kennedy practiced corporate and securities law in both London and Toronto.
