JP Morgan has named Goldman Sachs managing director Paul Uren as co-head of global investment banking for Australia and New Zealand.
Uren is expected to be based in Sydney in his new role and share his new position of investment banking head with Melbourne-based Grant Dempsey.

Uren, who joined Goldman Sachs in 2004, was appointed as the company’s managing director in 2007, as well as also served as its co-head of investment banking services.
Earlier, he served for eight years in the investment banking arm of Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney in New York and Sydney.
