JP Morgan Asset Management has unveiled a version of its Global Allocation strategy in the UK.

The Global Allocation fund will be managed by James Elliot, CIO of the firm’s international global multi-asset group and Jeff Geller CIO for the firm’s US global multi-asset team, alongside fund managers Jonathan Cummings and Talib Sheikh.

The launch of the multi-asset fund in the UK comes after the product has hit the three-year mark in the US.

Additionally, the UK fund is a diversified portfolio offering a composite benchmark of both bonds and global equities.

The fund seeks to achieve risk adjusted returns with a similar level of volatility to a more traditional balanced strategy. It will have a typical equity exposure between 30% – 60%.

The fund will use a split benchmark of 50% JPMorgan GBI Global hedged to GBP and 505 MSCI World index (Net) hedged to GBP.

Based on the share class, the fund will have an annual charge ranging from 0.65% to 1.25% as well as a total expense ratio of 98 basis points.

The US-based version of the fund invests in a range of asset classes including, international and emerging market equities, international fixed income, floating rate bonds and non-agency mortgages.
