JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed Tim Mitchell to the newly created role of investment trust sales head, effective from February.
In his new role, Mitchell will be responsible for coordinating sales and investor relations of the firm’s investment trusts. He will report to Simon Crinage, head of investment trusts.

Prior to joining JP Morgan, Mitchell served as co-head of investment companies at Investec. He also served as head of listed fund sales for Invesco and previously spent time at Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch.
Additionally, JP Morgan has appointed Charly Capper as its marketing head for investment trusts.
Fundweb quoted Crinage as saying, "I am very pleased that Mitchell has decided to join us in this new role to spearhead our sales and investor relations effort, alongside our marketing team under Capper.
"Last year was our best ever in terms of fundraising. With our new teams in place I am confident we can go on to even better things in the years ahead."
