John Hancock Investments, a US-based registered investment adviser, has selected Wellington Management to manage its John Hancock International Growth Fund.
The John Hancock International Growth Fund seeks to generate high total return primarily through capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of equity investments from outside the United States.

The fund will be managed by a team led by Wellington partner John Boselli. Boselli, who has been working with Wellington since 12 years, has been managing an international growth strategy since 2009.
The fund will follow a bottom-up and fundamentally driven, quality growth equity investment approach focused on companies with high revenue growth, superior business models, improving fundamentals and strong free cash flow .
