Jenepé Capital has appointed David Macauslane as head of global business development.Capital

Mr Macauslane will be based in the Jenepé offices on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, and will also work with the other Jenepé offices in Melbourne, Perth and London. His primary responsibilities will include building out the existing client base of companies listing on global stock exchanges, managing those clients and ensuring they receive a consistently high quality of service from the Jenepé Group.

Mr Macauslane brings more than 20 years of financial services experience to his role at Jenepé Capital. Amongst other roles, before joining Jenepé, Mr Macauslane served as an advisor to government and corporate clients, including work with Queensland Treasury Corporation advising a client group with a portfolio of AU$1bn in equity and $2bn in debt finance under management.

In addition to his work with the Queensland government Mr Macauslane previously acted as Chief Financial Officer for a number of highly successful companies through periods of significant growth and performance improvement, including an ASX-listed financial services company, a dynamic property development group and an international lease financier.

Mr Macauslane possesses a strong background in all aspects of treasury and treasury risk management, having commenced his career as a treasury accountant before holding senior treasury positions at investment bank ABN AMRO and CSR Limited, a large Australian multinational.

His accounting and finance qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters in Applied Finance, both from Macquarie University in Sydney.
