The Financial Services Agency (FSA) of Japan and the Bank of Thailand signed the Exchange of Letters for Cooperation (EOL) on 9 May 2014.

The EOL provides a formal basis for ongoing cooperation between the two authorities in sound financial regulatory mechanisms, particularly, financial administration, financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and reference rate reform.
