Hugh Grootenhuis, CEO of Waverton Investment Management, said: "Today’s announcement represents a change in name only. The underlying structure of the business remains the same and we will continue to offer the same high quality service and seek the superior investment performance that our clients have always expected of us."
"Our existing funds, a number of which are award winning and highly rated, have used the Waverton banner since 2004 and are well known to our clients. Waverton was originally chosen as it is the name of the Gloucestershire family home of Richard Hambro, our co-founder and late chairman," Grootenhuis added.
