Ireland-based Mediolanum Asset Management has selected private financial cloud provider Options as its new managed application and hosting provider.
The deal follows Mediolanum’s recent decision to overhaul its entire IT platform to implement a new front-to-back data management solution in conjunction with Misys.

Under the agreement, Options will deliver Misys’ fully integrated portfolio and risk management solution, FusionInvest, as a fully managed service for Mediolanum.
Also, the Irish asset manger will leverage Options managed application solution Momentum- which combines a global platform, for hosting dozens of customer proprietary applications, with a standardised platform for the delivery of the front, middle and back-office financial systems.
Mediolanum managing director in Ireland Furio Pietribiasi said: "The redesign of Mediolanum’s target operating model and data management system demanded a private financial cloud provider with experience of complex implementations that could facilitate our ambitious plans.
