IOMA Group, an Isle of Man-based wealth management firm, has strengthened its senior management team with two new hires.

The company has appointed Rupert Cottrell and Ken Watterson as its new group non-executive directors, who will be responsible for risk, audit and remuneration committees.

Also, Philip Scales has been promoted as the group CEO, while Chris Kenning has been appointed as group CFO and Julie Haslett as group compliance head.

Robin Bigland, founder and chairman, was quoted by Isle of Man News, saying: "Today the group supports an international client base delivering one of the industry’s most comprehensive ranges of insurance and wealth management services.

"Some things, however, will never change – consistently exceptional customer service underpinned by our core, traditional values of integrity, honesty and professionalism."
