The Investment Management Association (IMA) has renamed itself as The Investment Association.
The name change reflects IMA’s wider remit as an enlarged organization and follows its merger with investment affairs sector of the Association of British Insurers (ABI) in April last year.

Investment Association CEO Daniel Godfrey said: "Our name has changed, but our purpose has not.
"The association exists to make investment better. Better for clients, so they achieve their financial goals. Better for companies, so they get the capital they need to grow. Better for the economy, so everyone prospers," he added.
The rebranded association represents around 85% of investment management in the UK with members managing around £5trn of assets including 35% of all the assets managed across Europe.
