David Currie, who has led Investec’s UK investment banking division for over 10 years, is reportedly stepping down to form a new company, Codex Capital Partners.
Based in Mayfair, Codex has been established to allow ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices to make direct investments, as reported by cityam.com.

Two other financial industry veterans Simon Ware-Lane and Lee Aston will join with David. Ware-Lane has managed the family office investments for the Charles Church trust for more than 25 years.
Aston, who managed Numis’ corporate finance business before forming his own advisory business, has also worked in Investec’s investment banking division by 2005.
