Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) has named Tom Street to the newly-created role of managing director, IW&I UK.
Street, who earlier served as head of investment management at IW&I, will be responsible for managing the firm’s client-facing aspects including financial planning, private office and AIM divisions, and will also continue to oversee investment management.

He will also oversee research, investment risk, projects and marketing, and will report to IW&I CEO Jonathan Wragg.
In addition, the company has also appointed Matt Beddall, Carl Cross and Richard Greenhalgh to head its offices in Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester, respectively.
Beddall will take charge of the Sheffield office from Tom Street.
Cross, who has served in the Liverpool office for over 20 years, will replace head of the Liverpool office Jon Seal, who will retire in 2017.

By GlobalDataGreenhalgh will take charge from Jonathan Quick, who is retiring during 2016 as Manchester office head.
Wragg said: "This new structure is an important step forward as it will provide further support for our business as we continue to expand while ensuring that our service to our existing client base is enhanced further."
