Investec Asset Management has launched an offshore version of its Global Diversified Income Fund to international investors.
The fund aims to generate attractive income for investors from a global multi-asset portfolio, with a targeted distribution yield of around 5%.

The new fund will be managed similarly to a UK version launched in September 2012, and is part of Investec’s Luxembourg-domiciled Global Strategy Fund range.
The fund will be managed by John Stopford, co-head of the Investec multi-asset team.
Stopford said, "Income is in great demand from our international client base. Taking a global multi-asset approach allows us to seek out the best sources of income wherever they are and blend them together to control risk."
