Investec Private Bank has hired Peter Izard as business development manager for its high-net-worth (HNW) and professional mortgage range.
In his new role, Izard will be responsible for developing Investec’s HNW and professional mortgage offering within the intermediary market.

Izard joined Investec from Harrods Bank, where he was responsible for growing the bank’s intermediary lending proposition.
Prior to this, he held senior roles at HBOS, GMAC-RFC, Portillion, Intelligent Finance and Saffron Building Society.
Investec head of mortgages Jack Jones said: "Peter brings a wealth of experience and will help Investec to increase its profile among intermediaries and grow the business within the high net worth and professional mortgage space."
