A trio of fund managers have left Invesco Perpetual to join Neil Woodford’s new venture, Woodford Investment Management.
Invesco Pan European Equity Income fund manager Stephen Lamacraft, alongside fellow fund managers Paul Lamacraft and Saku Saha, have joined Woodford Investment Management.

A spokesman for Woodford said that Saha and Lamacraft have been appointed within Woodford’s fledgling organization.
Invesco has replaced Lamacraft with James Goldstone as UK equities fund manager, while the roles of Saha and Paul Lamacraft will be assumed by Frederick Bouverat and other members of the UK equities team at Invesco.
Additionally, Goldstone will work alongside Mark Barnett, Martin Walker and Ciaran Mallon.
Previously, the trio were part of Invesco Perpetual’s UK equities team which was led up by Woodford.

By GlobalDataStephen Lamacraft ran money at the firm while the other two were analysts focusing on assessing the smaller, often unquoted companies in which Woodford took an increasing interest at Invesco.
The move comes after Neil Woodford left Invesco Perpetual earlier this month.
An Invesco Perpetual spokeswoman said: "Under the leadership of Mark Barnett, Invesco Perpetual has recently strengthened the UK equities team, with the appointments of John Richards, previously chief investment officer at Société Générale Asset Management UK, and Hilary Cook as UK equities product director."
