Dutch trust operator Intertrust has named Ian Rumens as the global head of private wealth services.
Rumens will be based in Jersey and will responsible for developing the firm’s clientele of wealthy families and high net worth individuals.

He will also be responsible for heading an international team of professionals in the private wealth arm.
Rumens has been serving in Intertrust’s private wealth team in the role of director following the firm’s takeover of Elian last year.
He previously also had a stint at a Jersey-based legal fiduciary firm and worked for six years as an English solicitor with various private client practices in London before joining Elian in 2009.
