Dutch trust operator Intertrust has named Michael Johnson as the new head of funds in the Channel Islands.
Johnson, who formerly served as head of fund services at BNP Paribas, will now be responsible for developing the funds strategy across Jersey and Guernsey. His areas of focus will be private equity, debt as well as real estate fund administration.

Johnson previously also worked at Swiss Re Asset Management and is a committee member of the Jersey Funds Association.
In addition, Intertrust appointed Lucy Silvestri as the Channel Islands funds team’s associate director.
Silvestri, who has an experience of over a decade in fund administration, will manage three teams and their associated portfolios, and take on client directorships.
