Insight Investment, a UK-based institutional asset manager, has appointed Philip Anker as global head of distribution.
Based in London, he will report to Abdallah Nauphal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Insight, and will join the firm’s executive management team and board of directors, subject to regulatory approval.

For the past four years, Anker has been Head of Investor Relations and Business Development at Paloma Partners, the multi – strategy hedge fund, based in Greenwich, Connecticut. Previous experience includes leadership positions at The Blackstone Group and Citigroup Alternative Investments. Anker started his career with Deutsche Bank in New York and London where latterly he was Co – Head of D B Absolute Return Strategies for Europe and the Middle East.
