Indosuez Wealth Management, a division of Crédit Agricole Group, has completed the acquisition of Banque Thaler, obtaining full ownership.  

The transaction was conducted through Indosuez’s Swiss subsidiary.

The purchase, initially announced in April 2025, has now cleared all necessary regulatory hurdles.  

Banque Thaler, established in 1982, is known for its tailored client services and wealth management expertise. 

The acquisition is part of Indosuez strategy to enhance its market presence in Switzerland, where it has been active since 1876.  

The legal integration of Banque Thaler into Indosuez is projected to conclude by the end of 2025.

Banque Thaler’s clientele will have access to an extended portfolio of services and the capabilities of the group, including wealth advisory, structuring, financing solutions, corporate finance, fund administration, and asset management. 

Indosuez Wealth Management CEO Jacques Prost stated: “With Banque Thaler, we are strengthening our position in a key market and reaffirming our role as a major player in wealth management in Europe.  

“This acquisition is part of our strategy: to remain close to our clients through agile local teams and one of the most comprehensive service offerings on the market, accessible wherever they are.”  

Following the deal completion, Indosuez Wealth Management’s assets under management is expected to approach €220bn.

In June, Indosuez agreed to acquire the wealth management client base of BNP Paribas Group in Monaco.  

CFM Indosuez, the group’s established entity in Monaco, has arranged to transfer BNP Paribas’ Wealth Management clients in the jurisdiction to its management.
