Indosuez Wealth Management, the global wealth management unit of French banking group Crédit Agricole, has named Pierre Masclet as its deputy CEO.

Masclet will assume the new responsibility on 1 July 2019 and operate out of France.

Moreover, he will sit on the wealth management business’ management committee.

As deputy chief, Masclet will be tasked with spearheading the Markets, Investment & Structuring (MIS) teams across the globe.

He will be responsible for coordinating the cross-functional management of the commercial heads of France, Luxemburg, Monaco and Switzerland.

Masclet previously led Indosuez’s Asia operations as the CEO, a role he held since 2017.

He worked in various other roles at the firm, such as head of markets and investment solutions at the Swiss business and head of the private client division at the French business.

The appointment comes shortly after the appointment of Woo Ting May as the head of investment advisory in Singapore at Indosuez.

Earlier this year, the firm named Frédéric Lamotte as the global head of Americas.

Indosuez managed €122.8bn in assets at the end of December 2018 and has staff strength of 3,150.

The firm has a presence in France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Caledonia, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Lebanon, Brazil, Uruguay and Miami.
