Veris Wealth Partners, which focuses on impact and sustainable investing, has promoted its COO Stephanie Cohn Rupp to the role of CEO.
Rupp replaces Veris’ founding partner Patricia Farrar-Rivas, who has served as the CEO for the last 13 years.

Farrar-Rivas will remain with the company as chair of its Partner Group and as senior wealth manager.
The company said that the promotion of Rupp as its head reflects its continuing commitment to talent development and its focus on impact investing.
The decision also underlines signals Veris’ dedication to remaining an independent wealth management firm during a time of consolidation across the industry, it said.

Rupp has over 20 years of experience in impact investing in the US, Europe and Frontier Markets.
She has held several major leadership roles previously, including Tiedemann Advisor impact investing head, and Toniic CEO.
She also joined the board of US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment.

In her new role, Rupp unveiled Veris’ updated investment themes; namely, climate solutions and the environment, sustainable and regenerative agriculture, racial and gender equity, community wealth building.
