India Infoline Asset Management Company (IIFL AMC) has appointed Prashasta Seth as its new CEO.
Prashasta has been with IIFL Group for the last six years. In his prior roles he managed and advised pooled assets and client portfolios specifically focusing on developing investment strategies, generating stock ideas and creating actionable research reports.

Prior to joining IIFL Group, he was head of Irevna, a S&P Company engaged in financial research & analytics).
Earlier to that he was with JP Morgan, London and was responsible for structuring CDOs.
Commenting on the appointment, IIFL AMC director Karan Bhagat said: "Prashasta brings with him rich experience of managing PMS and asset management business. This will enable scaling up of IIFL AMC’s business in the area of managing pooled investments through Mutual Funds & Alternative Investment Funds."
Gopinath Natarajan, the present CEO of IIFL AMC, now heads equity advisory services of IIFL Group.
