HSBC Private Bank has promoted Christopher Marquis to global head of private wealth solutions, taking over the position from Bernard Rennell, who remains Asia head of global private banking.
Marquis, in his new role, is responsible for the bank’s private wealth business around the globe.

Marquis, who previously held the post of Asia head of private wealth solutions, will remain in Hong Kong and continue to report to Rennell.
Rennell, who formerly managed the bank’s global private wealth solutions, will now focus on his regional private bank responsibilities.
Additionally, Rennell chairs HSBC International Trustee, the holding company for the private wealth solutions business, as well as heads the family governance and family enterprise succession group globally.
