HSBC has revealed its plans to create 200 new jobs across Scotland including offices located in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Hamilton and Aberdeen, as part of a £20 million investment program.
A spokesperson of HSBC told BBC that the investment would help its Scottish operation connect with customers and support businesses to expand at home and overseas.

According to the plan, the London-headquartered company will add over 100 new project staff in its HSBC Security Services businesses in Glasgow and Edinburgh, while 85 permanent and fixed-term employees will be hired in its Hamilton contact centre.
Additionally, the financial company will recruit approximately 20 more people in its Corporate Banking department across Scotland, while building a new private banking team in Aberdeen.
Alison McGregor, chief executive for HSBC in Scotland, said, "HSBC’s role in Scotland is to support growth in the Scottish economy, through helping businesses expand in the UK and overseas, supporting individuals and providing quality employment."
"This is a very positive sign for Scotland and HSBC," McGregor told the publication.
