HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Kalen Lim as chief executive officer in Singapore, with effect from July 1 2013.
In her new role, Lim will report jointly to Joanna Munro, CEO for Asia Pacific, HSBC Global Asset Management and Paul Arrowsmith, head of retail banking and wealth management, HSBC Singapore.

Lim, who joined HSBC in 2005 and is currently head of business finance for HSBC Singapore where she oversees full analytic support for the bank covering corporate bank, small & medium enterprises, retail bank, global markets, and custody and clearing.
Previously, she was responsible for business banking strategy and products for commercial banking.
