Hornbuckle, a UK-based Sipp and SSAS administrator, has entered into a ten-year strategic alliance with technology provider FNZ to deliver a new online portal for its pension customers.
The alliance will provide UK advisors, wealth managers, private banks and direct to consumer intermediaries access to pension administration, investment services and self-service tools for traditional and non-traditional asset types.

As part of the alliance, Hornbuckle and FNZ will combine their efforts and expertise to drive innovation in user experience, product design and technology solutions focused on administration and investment solutions for the UK’s retirement market over the next 10 years.
Known as Embark, the new portal will enable advisers to look at pension scheme valuations for Sipps and SSASs and self-service tools.
The portal will be introduced to selected Hornbuckle clients in the fourth quarter prior to being launched to the remainder of its client base and to new distribution partners in early 2015.
