Hong Kong, Luxembourg, and Sydney emerged as the most favoured destinations for the quality of life they offer, according to a report by real estate advisory firm Knight Frank.

Knight Frank’s Global Lifestyle Review considered a host of factors such as distance to airport, number of Michelin star restaurants, education, healthcare, as well as political risk, personal safety and quality-of-life rankings by consulting firm Mercer, after which Hong Kong was ranked as the best place to live for an entrepreneur.

In terms of importance to entrepreneurs, London bagged the second spot, followed by Vancouver (3). Dubai bagged the fourth spot along with Geneva, Sydney, and Vienna.   

In terms of top choice to live for a family, Luxembourg bagged the highest ranking. The country was followed by Vienna (2), Hong Kong (3), Geneva (4).

Sydney was ranked as the top choice for retired couples, followed by Malta (2), Luxembourg(3), and Limassol (4).

Notably, the index included only one US city, namely Miami that bagged the 10th spot as preferred choice to live for family.
