Hermes Fund Managers has named Zoë Shaw as new head of fixed income in a move to expand into the debt markets.
In her new role, Shaw will be responsible for expanding the firm’s fixed income and credit capabilities and create a range of specialist credit capabilities that leverage Hermes’ unique ownership structure.

Shaw will report in to Hermes’ CEO Saker Nusseibeh.
Shaw joined Hermes from Promethion, where he served as managing director since 2009. Prior to this, she was founder and managing partner of New Bond Street Asset Management, also a fixed income asset manager.
She also worked as general manager and head of debt finance at Bankgesellschaft, now known as Landesbank Berlin.
Nusseibeh said: "Zoe will play an integral role in creating a range of specialist credit capabilities which will give clients the opportunity to invest in hard to access areas of the fixed income spectrum."
