The services, which Karsch’s business will offer its clients is not exactly known but it is expected that he could provide advice on a range of investment topics from private equity to individual stock picks.

According to the news agency, one of his first clients for the new firm may be Stanley Druckenmiller, the billionaire investor known as the key architect of George Soros’s bet against the British pound in 1992.

Druckenmiller, who posted average annual returns of 30% for decades, has known Karsch ever since the two worked together at Soros Fund Management.

At Soros, Druckenmiller was chief investment officer and Karsch was responsible for investments in value stocks.
