Heartwood Investment Management has unveiled two new global multi asset income funds to sit alongside its total return range.

The CF Heartwood Income Multi Asset and CF Heartwood Income Plus Multi Asset funds have expected initial yields of 3.5% and 3.9%, respectively.

The two funds will be managed by Heartwood’s investment team in a collective team-based manner which includes Noland Carter, head of Heartwood Investment and Jaisal Pastakia, investment manager of the multi asset income range.

Both the funds will be part of Investment Association’s unclassified sector and will have ongoing charges of 0.75%.

Carter said: "We see this demand based on changing retirement patterns and new pension freedoms, and global multi-asset strategies are well placed to meet this need."

Pastakia said: "Our aim is to smooth the investment journey for clients by delivering a stable income stream whilst protecting downside risk.
