Heartwood Investment Management, a division of Heartwood, has appointed Nick Hendy as its new intermediary client director.
In his new role, Hendy will help to develop and manage Heartwood’s financial adviser distribution strategy.

With more than 26 years’ experience in retail investment management industry, Hendy’s background includes discretionary, wealth management, IFA, direct and third party distribution.
Hendy comes to Heartwood from Aviva Investors where, as investment sales manager, he distributed onshore and offshore retail funds to life assurance companies, investment platforms and other asset managers.
Hendy has also worked at Standard Life and AXA in a range of product sales roles.
Commenting on the new role, Heartwood head of intermediary sales, Mark Rockliffe, said: "He will play a key role in the development of our business amongst advice & wealth management firms in the future."
