Before joining Harris in September 2010, Benevides was president of Chicago-based Family Office Exchange.
In 2002, Harris acquired certain assets of myCFO, Inc., originally founded by James Clark, in a $30m deal. Harris myCFO provides a variety of services including investment advisory and family office services.
Harris myCFO managed over $18bn in assets in 2011. The company has additional locations in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Menlo Park, New York, San Francisco, Scottsdale, and Seattle and operates as a subsidiary of Harris National Association.
