Grant Thornton has opened a new office at 300 First Stamford Place in Stamford, Connecticut.
About 50 existing employees of the company has already started work in the new office which comprises 6,300 square feet of leased area.

Frank Kurre, the firm’s Metro New York and New England managing partner, said that the new office will accommodate a range of resources including audit, tax and advisory services personnel.
Lawrence Griff, partner-in-charge of the Stamford and Westchester practices of Grant Thornton, said, "The new office will provide a fresh option for local companies in private equity, financial services, insurance, not-for-profit, health care, technology and manufacturing, among many other industries."
The company also operates another office at Connecticut located at 124 Hebron Ave. in Glastonbury.
