Grant Thornton has appointed Doug Brundage as its new tax partner and deputy tax practice leader for New York and New England.

Brundage will be based in the company’s Melville, New York office in the new role.

Brundage has spent over 30 years working on tax matters such as state and local taxation, mergers and acquisitions, tax technology systems, transfer pricing and all aspects of international taxation.

He most recently served as the lead tax partner at Sauvigne & Company, where he was responsible for offering tax services to various domestic and multinational clients across multiple industries.

Previously, he also served as a tax partner at Arthur Andersen and KPMG.
