Goldman Sachs Group has appointed Tony Kelly as new head of product development for its ETF business.

Kelly will join the New York-based firm in the capacity of a managing director, Bloomberg reported citing an internal memo.

He will report to Michael Crinieri, who moved from Goldman Sach’s trading unit in 2014 to spearhead the ETF arm.

Kelly previously served for 15 years in the iShares ETF business at Barclays and BlackRock.

Kelly, who departed from BlackRock in April 2015, was responsible for managing the development of over 100 funds at iShares. He later set up the capital markets group for that business.
